ORANGE PARK – Fortis College in Orange Park, part of a network of schools managed by Education Affiliates, Inc., has re-appointed Wyman Dickey as its new campus president. Dickey formerly served as the campus president of Fortis College in Orange Park for 12 years before temporarily stepping away from higher education to pursue a career in healthcare leadership.

Dickey will oversee all aspects of the campus’ day-to-day operations, including budget, academic programs, new instructor hires, student admissions and other essential operations. Under his leadership and strategic guidance, Dickey will be pivotal in steering the campus toward continued growth and success. His expertise and vision will contribute to shaping a promising future for the campus and its academic community.

“Wyman’s extensive experience in higher education and his proven track record in campus leadership make him the ideal candidate to drive our campus to new heights,” said Fortis College Regional Vice President Niki Good. “We’re excited to have him back in the Fortis family and look forward to the positive impact he will undoubtedly bring to the growth and development of our campus.”

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, Dickey previously served as the president of Sanford-Brown Institute in Jacksonville, vice president of Keiser Career College in St. Petersburg and campus director of Daytona College in Ormond Beach.

Dickey was responsible for various aspects in these roles, including budget management, degree program accreditations, compliance requirements and other vital operations.

He received his Master of Health Science Education from the University of Florida and his Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Fortis College offers a wide range of campus-based programs in nursing, medical assisting, medical technology, and dental. The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) has accredited the campus’ Associate Degree in Nursing program.
