MIDDLEBURG – Students can have fun, get school supplies and free physicals and haircuts before the first day of school during a pair of events on Saturday on College Drive.
The Back to School Bash will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Thrasher-Horne Center, while the Emmanuel Project will provide free school physicals at Mercy Support Services from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students from all grades will get new backpacks with school supplies and new clothing at the Back to School Bash.
A half mile away, students can get physicals and haircuts. Students are asked to register for appointments at emmanuelproject.org/schedule.
