GREEN COVE SPRINGS - The University of Tennessee women's swimming won three medals, posted four podium finishes and garnered All-America honors in seven events on night three of the 2025 NCAA Championships at the Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center.
From Clay High, Tennessee senior Sara Stotler was part of the 400 medley relay squad that earned a silver medal and All American status.
The 400 medley relay ended the night with a bang, as the lineup of Josephine Fuller, Mona McSharry, Sara Stotler and Camille Spink brought home a silver medal with the second-fastest effort in school history at 3:24.99. It was Tennessee's highest finish in the event since winning the title in 2013, and this marked the second year in a row of winning a medal after taking bronze last season.
Stotler, a USA Olympic Trials athlete as well, now has seven All America certificates with three in 2024 and five in 2023 plus seven medals from the Southeastern Conference championship with five silvers, two bronze.
At the NCAAs, in the 200 medley relay, Tennessee, with Stotler in third leg, finished 13th and 11th in the 200 IM in 1:54.28.
At the SEC championships, Stotler was third leg of the second place Tennessee relay in the 200 medley relay won by Texas.
In the 200 IM, Stotler was fourth in 1:54.56.
In the 100 butterfly, Stotler was fifth in 51.50.
In the 200 butterfly, Stotler was fifth in 1:53.26.
At the NCAAs, in the 400 medley relay, Stotler was third leg in squad that was second to Florida; 3:24.78 to 3:25.18.
In the 100 fly, Stotler was 21st in 51.58.
In the 400 medley relay, Tennessee was second to eventual national champion Virginia with Stotler in the third leg in 51.01.
In the 200 fly, Stotler was 12th in 1:53.86 in prelims then stormed to win the Consolation Final in ninth overall in 1:53.18.
