ORANGE PARK – The Ridgeview High School Navy JROTC was invited to present the colors and sing the National Anthem at the Orange Park Walmart for their grand re-opening ceremony last Friday. The store manager, Julian Sprirollari, presented the cadets with a check for $2,500. Walmart has strongly supported the cadets over the years, welcoming them to collect donations for Wreaths Across America and bell ringing to support the Salvation Army. Walmart headquarters invested $7 million to renovate the store. It’s the only flagship store in Florida featuring cutting-edge programs and services, the latest technology and elevated brands of apparel. Dignitaries included Sheriff Machelle Cook, Clay County Commissioner Jim Renninger, Clay Chamber President Jon Cantrell and Justin Horan from the Clay County Clerk of Court Office.
