PENNEY FARMS – Penney Retirement Community residents got their first peek at a new dining hall Tuesday and were also served a free breakfast featuring blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The new building can seat as many as 400 guests, replacing the old dining hall that could only accommodate 200 diners. The hall serves about 500 meals a day, and that doesn’t include the assisted living center, which has a separate commissary.
