PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lake Asbury Municipal Service Benefit District (LAMSBD), a dependent special district in Clay County, Florida, created by Chpt. 86-392, Laws of Florida, is seeking proposals for qualifications from qualified banks and financial institutions to establish a long-term financial relationship with LAMSBD for financial planning, banking, and lending needs for LAMSBD.  The financial services sought by LAMSBD are more particularly described as follows:

Financial and banking partnership; short-term and long-term financial planning needs and guidance; appropriate investment options for LAMSBD accounts; loans for projects and other financial obligations; funding opportunities through bonds and other similar financial instruments that may be available; short-term and long-term funding needs for LAMSBD’s ongoing Dam and Spillway Rehabilitation Project, which is a project that could span 10-years or more; and line of credit funding options.

LAMSBD is responsible for the operations and maintenance of Lake Asbury, South Lake Asbury and Lake Ryan, and their dam complex structures, located in Clay County, Florida.  LAMSBD has an approved Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and is in the process of procuring engineers and contractors for its Dam and Spillway Rehabilitation Project.

LAMSBD is requesting that interested banks and financial institutions provide proposals for qualifications, incorporating the above information and services sought, by e-mail, including services offered, experiences with government entities, lending requirements, rates, and fees. Proposals for qualifications must be submitted as a hard copy and also electronic copy on two USB drives delivered to and received by LAMSBD no later than 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Law Offices of Cobb & Gonzalez, P.A., 4655 Salisbury Rd., Suite 200, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

This is a Qualification Based Selection procedure for professional financial services, and there will be no public opening of the proposals submitted.  Proposals for qualifications will not be accepted or considered unless received by the proposal deadline.
