NOTICE OF RULEMAKING BY THE CROSS CREEK NORTH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

A public hearing will be conducted by the Board of Supervisors (“Board”) of the Cross Creek North Community Development District (“District”) on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., at the Cross Creek North Amenity Center, 2895 Big Oak Drive, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043.
In accord with Chapters 190 and 120, Florida Statutes, the District hereby gives the public notice of its intent to adopt its RV Park Rental Rates (“RV Park Rates”), its revised Suspension and Termination of Access Rule (“Suspension and Termination Rules”), and its Rules Relating to Overnight Parking and Parking Enforcement (“Parking and Towing Rules”), all of which govern the operation of the District’s amenity facilities and other properties.
The purpose and effect of the RV Park Rates, Suspension and Termination Rules and Parking and Towing Rules are to provide for efficient and effective District operations of the District’s amenities facilities and properties by setting policies, regulations, rates and fees to implement the provisions of Section 190.035, Florida Statutes. Prior Notice of Rule Development was published in The Clay Today on March 2, 2023.
The RV Park Rates, Suspension and Termination Rules and Parking and Towing Rules will address certain revisions to the District’s rules and policies governing the operation of the District’s amenity facilities and other properties. Proposed rates include:
RV Park Rental Rates
30 foot spaces $1,320.00 annually
35 foot spaces $1,380.00 annually
40 foot spaces $1,560.00 annually
Specific legal authority for the rule includes Sections 190.035(2), 190.011(5), 190.012, 120.54, 120.69 and 120.81, Florida Statutes (2020).
Any person who wishes to provide the District with a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative as provided by Section 120.541(1), Florida Statutes, must do so in writing within twenty-one (21) days after publication of this notice.

This public hearing may be continued to a date, time, and place to be specified on the record at the hearing. If anyone chooses to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at a public hearing held in response to a request for such a public hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and should accordingly ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
One or more Supervisors may participate in the public hearing by telephone. At the above location, if a public hearing is requested, there will be present a speaker telephone so that any interested party can attend the public hearing at the above location and be fully informed of the discussions taking place either in person or by speaker telephone device.
