NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard, in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Room on the Fourth Floor of the Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida, to consider the adoption of an ordinance bearing the following title:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CLAY COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE CLAY COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE AND AMENDING CHAPTER 16 OF THE CLAY COUNTY CODE BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE AND THE FOLLOWING DIVISIONS THEREUNDER, PROVIDING FOR: GENERAL DIVISION; GOVERNMENT, JAILS, AND CONSTITUTIONAL FACILITIES IMPACT FEES DIVISION; FIRE AND RESCUE FACILITIES IMPACT FEES DIVISION; LAW ENFORCEMENT FACILITIES IMPACT FEES DIVISION; PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES IMPACT FEES DIVISION; LIBRARY AND CULTURAL FACILITIES IMPACT FEES DIVISION; MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS DIVISION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard by the Board on matters pertaining to the ordinance. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the hearing or at any subsequent hearing to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be inspected by members of the public at the County Attorney’s Office, Second Floor of the Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of legal holidays.
