NOTICE OF PROPOSED ZONING ATLAS CHANGE

PUD-2022-07

THE PUBLIC IS HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Planning Commission of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard, and that the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard. The hearings will be held in the BCC Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston St, Green Cove Springs, Florida. The public hearings are scheduled for the purpose of considering the adoption of a rezoning application. The proposed ordinance is entitled:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CLAY COUNTY FLORIDA, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III OF THE CLAY COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND LAND USE LDRs ADOPTED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 93-16, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF A SINGLE PARCEL (TAX PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER 27-04-25-008011-000-00) COMPRISING 26.4 ACRES, FROM BB (INTERMEDIATE BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPEMENT DISTRICT); PROVIDING A DESCRIPTION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 The proposed ordinance would change the current zoning classification of one parcel of land from BB (Intermediate Business District) to PUD (Planned Unit Development District), the owners of the land being Segovia Ventures, L.L.C. and PAM, L.L.C.

Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. After the public hearing the Board may take immediate action on the proposed ordinance, or may continue its deliberations to a date, time and place then announced without publishing further notice thereof.  A copy of the proposed ordinance is available for inspection by the public at the Clay County Planning and Zoning Division, Third Floor of said Administration Building, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays.

Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent meeting to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
