IN RE: FORFEITURE OF THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY:
CASE NO: 2022CA1121
NINETY-EIGHT THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX DOLLARS AND XX/100 IN U.S. CURRENCY ($98,756.00);
JEWELRY DESCRIBED AS A GOLD AND DIAMOND BRACELET, GOLD AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, AND A GOLD AND DIAMOND CEO CHARM
THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO:
ALL PERSONS, FIRMS AND CORPORATIONS OWNING, HAVING OR CLAIMING AN INTEREST IN OR LIEN ON THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY.
YOU AND EACH OF YOU are hereby notified that the above described property has been seized, under and by virtue of § 932.701 to § 932.704, Laws of Florida, and is now in the possession of the sheriff of this county, and you, and each of you, are hereby further notified that a complaint, under said chapter, has been filed in the Circuit Court of the Fourth Judicial Circuit, in and for Clay County, Florida, seeking the forfeiture of the said property, which was seized on 09/11/2022, in Clay County; you are hereby directed and required to file your claim, and directing said claim to: Stephanie Morse, Esq., Special Counsel, Office of The Attorney General, Florida Bar No.: 0068713, Attorney for Clay County Sheriff, whose address is Office of the Attorney General, Complex Litigation- State Programs Litigation Bureau, PL 01 The Capitol, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1050, if any of you have, and show cause, on or before December 30, 2022, if not personally served with process herein, and within 20 days from personal service if
personally served with process herein, why the said property should not be forfeited pursuant to said chapter
§ 932.701 to § 932.704, Laws of Florida. Should you fail to file claim as herein directed judgment will be entered herein against you in due course. Persons not personally served with process may obtain a copy of
the petition for forfeiture filed herein from the undersigned clerk of court. If no claimants appear the Office of the Clay County Sheriff will be seeking final order of forfeiture.
