Legal Public Notice RFQ-SJR-04-2023 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

St. Johns River State College (SJR State) is soliciting architectural services for the remodel and addition to the FloArts facility (Bldg. F) located on the Palatka Campus, 5001 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
To be considered, qualifications must be submitted as prescribed in the RFQ-SJR-04-2023 Specifications Document. The specifications document may be obtained by sending a written request via e-mail to TerryThomas@sjrstate.edu or by clicking on this link to the college’s webpage dedicated to this RFQ https://www.sjrstate.edu/042023.
RFQ responses, clearly marked on the outside with the firm name and RFQ-SJR-04-2023, must be received by Mrs. Terry Thomas, Director of Capital Assets and Risk Management, St. Johns River State College, Business Office, 5001 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177 by 2:00 p.m. on September 21, 2023. Responses received by the deadline will be officially opened and firm names read aloud at 2:30 p.m. on September 21, 2023, in Room A152, Valhalla Hall in the Admin. Bldg. on the campus in Palatka. Faxed, e-mailed, conditional, late responses, and deliveries to an incorrect location will not be considered.
Information and notices will be posted on the college’s web page dedicated to this RFQ at https://www.sjrstate.edu/042023 as the process progresses.
Responses will be evaluated by committee per criteria contained in the specifications document and will include interviews of top ranked candidates. A public meeting will be held on October 2, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. in Room A-152 Valhalla Hall, Administration Building, on the SJR State Campus in Palatka to evaluate written responses and select candidates for interviews. Interviews, open to the public, will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. October 9, 2023, in Room A-152 on the Palatka Campus culminating in a public meeting at 1:30 p.m. for preparation of a ranked short-list of architects for action by the DBOT at their meeting at the SJR State Campus in Palatka on October 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Contract negotiations will begin with the top ranked firm following action by the DBOT.
SJR State reserves the right to reject any or all responses to the RFQ, to waive any or all informalities in regards thereto, and to award a contract which will be in the best interest of the College.
