The Clay County, Florida Planning and Zoning Department, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located south of Old Jennings Road. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 22-04-2402R for a proposed project southeast of the intersection of Branan Field Road and Old Jennings Road in Clay County. D. R. Horton, Inc. - Jacksonville is proposing to construct new stormwater infrastructure to serve a multi-family residential development.
Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards:
1.       The Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) in Wet HD-3 will increase and decrease.
2.     Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will increase in Wet HD-3.
3.      New SFHA and Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will be established for the        stormwater ponds associated with the Brannan Field Commercial site (BFC HC-2 and BFC HD-1).
4.      New SFHA and BFEs will be established for the proposed stormwater ponds    associated with the Branan Field Village Multifamily site (BFM HC-1, BFM HC-2, and BFM HC-3).
5.       New SFHA and BFEs will be established for the proposed stormwater ponds associated with Old Jennings Road (OJR HD-1) and Canterfield Assisted Living Facility(CFT HD-1).
