A request for rezoning has been filed with the Town of Orange Park Economic and Community Development Department regarding property located at 385 Stiles Avenue between Plainfield Avenue and Park Avenue. The parcel number is 41-04-26-018658-000-00.
The Town Council and Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings for the proposed rezoning application.
The Planning and Zoning Board public hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Town Council Chambers, located at the corner of Park Avenue and Kingsley Avenue.
The Town Council public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. also in the Town Council Chambers.
Anyone interested in this matter will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. A sign will be posted on the property concerned for the information of the general public.

Description of proposed uses: The application proposes redeveloping the site into a multi-family townhouse development for a maximum of 33 units. Each townhouse will be a 2-story unit with either 2 or 3 bedrooms and a one car garage. The maximum height of structures is thirty-five (35) feet.
Any person(s) deciding to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing will need a verbatim record of the proceedings made, which record would include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Copies may be examined in the office of the Town Clerk, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. by appointment.
