A request for rezoning has been filed with the Town of Orange Park Economic and Community Development Department regarding property located at 1331 Miller Street between Gano Avenue and Mockingbird Lane.  The parcel number is 41-04-26-019847-003-00.

The Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing for the proposed rezoning application on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Town Council Chambers, located at the corner of Park Avenue and Kingsley Avenue.  Anyone interested in this matter will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.  A sign will be posted on the property concerned for the information of the general public.

Description of proposed uses:  The applicant proposes to rebuild a new church to replace the former church building destroyed in a fire.  The proposed church building will include Worship and Fellowship areas, Sunday school classrooms and kitchen (for private use of the church only).  The total floor area is approximately 9,134 square feet. 

Any person(s) deciding to appeal any decision made by the Planning and Zoning Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing will need a verbatim record of the proceedings made, which record would include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  Copies may be examined in the office of the Town Clerk, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
