CLAY HILL – The monthly Impact Clay Train made a stop at Clay Elementary on Saturday, Oct. 18. The free event served 100 residents with spiritual, mental health, life, substance abuse, benefits and community support counseling, as well as free clothing, 10 haircuts, food, a hot meal, 13 vision screenings, more than 20 dental checkups, medical exams, free shoes, books and train rides. The Impact Clay Train will be at Grove Park Elementary on Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon and Green Cove Springs Junior High on Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon. Also, the Fall Friday Night Food Trucks will return this Friday, Oct. 24, in the parking lot of Asbury United Methodist Church, 16 College Dr., from 5:30-8 p.m. In addition to food trucks, there will be live entertainment. And remember to bring your own chair.
