ORANGE PARK – Hundreds turned last weekend’s Fifth Annual Active After 50 Expo at the Thrasher-Horne Center into a tremendous success. More than 50 vendors could offer senior services and goods, as well as free belly-dancing, yoga and pickleball instructions. Attendees also got fitness and nutrition tips. “Seniors are living longer and healthier lives. It is so important to remain active,” said expo executive director Sara Malone. Local Active After 50 Expo sponsors include Millennium Physician Group, North Florida Sleep Resources, Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida, Kam Lee Center, Active After 50 Online and Selkirk Sport.
