LAKE ASBURY – Clay County officials are reminding residents and drivers of construction work that will affect the Sandridge Road entrance to Anabelle Island, starting on Feb. 5.
All traffic must use the Russell Road entrance and exit for the next several weeks. East and westbound traffic on Sandridge will not be allowed to use the Russell/Sandridge roads intersection. All traffic will be diverted to a new roadway.
Drivers can expect single-lane traffic with flaggers, intermittent stops, delays, and congestion. Crews will be working day and night, so leave early, drive carefully and pack plenty of patience.
