GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Clay County District Schools juniors and seniors are invited to attend College and Career Night on Sept. 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Clay County Fairgrounds.

State and out-of-state universities will be at the event, as well as local industry partners. The event also will highlight the district’s Career Technical Education programs.

Oakleaf High hosting fall theatre auditions

OAKLEAF – The Oakleaf High theatre troupe is holding auditions for the fall play, “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” at their theatre competition Aug. 24.

Students are welcome to audition. They will be held in Room 514, located on the stage. Please bring a 30-60 second memorized monologue. If you would like to be considered for a singing role in the District Competition, please prepare a 16-32 bar musical theatre audition song.

Season sports passes available at several high schools

CLAY COUNTY – Parents and students can purchase a season pass for all junior varsity and varsity regular-season sporting events at Fleming Island, Orange Park and Clay highs.

The cost is $70 for students and $80 for adults at Fleming Island; $75 for adults and $65 for students at Clay High; $65 for adults and $55 for students at Orange Park.
