Behind Creative Restorations Inc. stands not just one, but two passionate owners: Matthew and Tamara Kennedy. For nearly three decades, their combined devotion and vision have driven the quiet success of their dental laboratory in the heart of Orange Park, Florida.

Through every challenge and every triumph, Tamara has been the foundation that kept it all steady. Her love, strength and belief in Matt’s dream made all the difference — and her role as co-owner is vital to the heart of the business.

Creative Restorations Inc. has changed lives, one handcrafted smile at a time. Matthew, a lifelong local, comes from a family that has served Clay County for over 80 years. His grandmother retired from the Orange Park post office after 30 years. Aunt Jean — God rest her soul — was the special lady who opened the door to this entire journey.

If it had not been for her asking Matthew to lunch on a rainy day in May 1991, he may never have found this path. She was the office manager of a local dental practice with an in-house dental lab for over three decades. That day, she told Matthew to wait in the lab. He will never forget stepping inside — seeing wax teeth, molds, and fascinating tools. He was amazed and never left.

What a great lunch that turned out to be. Matthew is so grateful for her.

“Work for a cause, not for applause. Live to express, not to impress. Don’t strive to make your presence noted, just be truly devoted.”

Creative Restorations Inc. isn’t a typical dental lab. It’s a hybrid of advanced technology and hands-on artistry. By working closely with dentists and involving patients in the process, Matthew carved out a niche unlike large commercial labs. His work — though largely unseen — has impacted tens of thousands of lives.

“I don’t just make teeth,” he says. “I help people smile again.”

A grateful patient wrote:

“Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did on my bridge. It is so perfect! Everyone is amazed at the match of my original teeth. In fact, you said that the office would think you made a mistake when they first looked at the bridge and that happened. I had to laugh when they put it in my mouth — PERFECT! Thanks for all your hard work and expertise.”

— In Christ, Barb

But Kennedy is the first to say it’s not just him behind the smiles.

“Our irreplaceable staff — from old school to the new — is the heartbeat of Creative Restorations Inc. Our fully cross-trained technicians understand how to make a tooth even when technology won’t turn on.”

Each technician is cross-trained in all facets of the lab — from guided surgery to removables, implants to crown and bridge. That versatility has created a culture of problem-solving and excellence that shines through in every case.

Known to some as Orange Park’s best-kept dental secret, the team at Creative Restorations Inc. continues to serve not for attention — but from devotion.
