His grandmother retired from the Orange Park post office after 30 years. Aunt Jean — God rest her soul — was the special lady who opened the door to this entire journey.

If it had not been for her asking Matthew to lunch on a rainy day in May 1991, he may never have found this path. She was the office manager of a local dental practice with an in-house dental lab for over three decades. That day, she told Matthew to wait in the lab. He will never forget stepping inside — seeing wax teeth, molds, and fascinating tools. He was amazed and never left.
