Between the dates of May 15 and June 14 the Clay County Public Library System will hold an art contest seeking artwork for special, limited-edition library cards, as well as marketing and promotional materials for Library Card Sign Up Month in September. The theme for this art contest will be “Color Our World” for the Summer Reading theme.

The contest is open to all residents of all ages of Clay County, Florida. Amateur artists will be grouped and judged by age: age 5 and under, age 6-11, age 12-18, and 19+.
Professional artists will be grouped and judged in a separate category. Professional status will be decided at the discretion of the judging panel as necessary.

Entries may be returned at any Clay County Public Library Branch or via email at the email address below beginning at 9 a.m. May 15 and ending June 14 at 5 p.m. Digital artwork may be submitted, along with a scanned, signed entry form, to ptlibrary@claycountygov.com. No late entries will be accepted.

Clay County Board of County Commissioners staff will judge between June 16 and June 20.
Winners will be announced on June 27.
