Clay Impact Train to make first stop at GCS Junior High

Posted

GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Clay Impact Train has expanded its route to include three annual stops at Green Cove Springs Junior High on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The revolving group of services makes a stop at a targeted school each month to build a more resilient community by providing essential resources, education and support to families. Impact Clay combines local organizations and volunteers to provide necessities like benefits assistance, medical, mental and addiction services, a food pantry, free clothing, hair styling and books, life and spiritual coaching, community support and meals.

The mobile care team rotated between Grove Park and Clay Hill elementary schools and Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High last year. Clay Impact added Green Cove Springs Junior High to its itinerary this year.

There are no registration requirements, and the event is free.
