While students head into summer, we are ramping up efforts to ensure teachers and classrooms are ready for the year ahead, and we can’t do it without the support of the community.

Because of the support this year, CEF invested directly in students and teachers by delivering more than $177,000 in classroom supplies, funding 39 classroom grants impacting nearly 8,000 students and hosting family literacy events across the county.

 But the need continues.

The Tools 4 Schools teacher shop now needs to be restocked for August, and we will soon open a new round of grants to fund innovative STEM and literacy projects that bring learning to life. For many teachers, these resources are the difference between starting the year with confidence or starting behind.

As Rookie Teacher of the Year Kyleigh Edenfield shared: “The Tools for Schools program served as the foundation for my classroom… it gave me the organized, confident start my students deserved.”

That’s the impact the community has made.

Gifts today will help ensure every teacher walks into their classrooms prepared, supported and ready to inspire — and every student has the opportunity to succeed. One $50 gift will help a teacher shop for essential supplies. A $150 gift can fully stock a new teacher's classroom for the year.
