From movie nights and painting parties to bounce houses and nature, there are a number of fun, family-friendly events to look forward to this summer season.

Here are a few that will be coming to Clay County soon!

  •  Drive-In Movies

Clay Events will be hosting new Reel Fun Nights every Friday in June at the Clay County Fairgrounds. Along with a movie showing, guests can look forward to food vendors and a Kid Zone. Movies will include Migration on June 6, Dog Man on June 13, Surf's Up on June 20 and Top Gun on June 27.  Movies start at 8:10 p.m and food is served all night. The Kid Zone will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.claycountyfair.org

  • Black Creek Eco Fest

Guests will have the chance to be immersed in nature and ecology, and to explore the Black Creek and St. Johns Rivers at this upcoming festival. The event, on June 14, will be held at Camp Chowenwaw Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include interactive programs, local vendors, hands-on activities and guided hikes.

  • Family Paint Party at Whitey's Fish Camp

On Aug. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m., the Fleming Island restaurant will be hosting a night of painting with local artist Don Kight. Meant for all experience levels and ages, guests will be guided through how to create their own artwork, while enjoying food and drinks. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com.

  • Retro Summer Expo

The Orange Park Mall will be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a '70s-themed party on July 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A part of the KidX Club series, the free event will have interactive sports demos, a bounce house, prizes, a bubble station, games, chalk art and an opportunity to check out emergency responder vehicles.

  • Bounce Land Family Fun Extravaganza

This event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 12-15 at the Clay County Fairgrounds. It will include bounce houses, obstacle courses, inflatable games and food vendors. Purchase tickets at https://bouncelandff.com.
