KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Twisted Oaks Rescue founder Jessie Shekels decided to close her pet food distribution and wellness clinic next year because she needs surgery and treatment for a severe neck and back injury.
The final on-site wellness clinic, including free spay and neuter, will be at 7637 El Dorado Ave. on Dec. 9.
According to a Facebook post, the pantry is full and cannot accept any more pet food donations.
The organization also posted:
“Thank you all for your support over the last five years! As a team, we made a huge difference in the lives of local pet families. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to serve our lake area pet community!”
