The annual contest had 4-H youth members showcase their talents through public speaking, photography, graphic design or Teach Me in Three, a videography contest. 

 The showcase allowed 4-H members to share their spark – something that interests them – in front of caring members of the community. From there, volunteer judges provided feedback to the youth to help them grow and improve. Youth earned a blue, red or white ribbon based on their score. The top score in each category won a special high point award trophy for excellence. 

 Many of the 4-H members scored high enough to advance to the district or state contest in the various categories. The youth performing public speaking, illustrated talks and demonstrations will head to the district 4-H contest in Nassau County on May 23. The youth who earned high enough points in photography and graphic design will have their piece entered in the Florida 4-H State Photography and Graphic Design contests this summer.
