PENNEY FARMS -- The Rotary Club of Green Cove Springs started its new year by installing John Bowles as its new president and honoring several members, including outgoing President Elizabeth S. Dusinberre, for their service during the past year. The ceremony at Penney Retirement Community also included the presentation of its Citizen of the Year Award to Mary Justino, the Public Information Officer for the Clay County Clerk of Courts and Comptroller's Office. Other awards included Nancy Keating (Rock of Rotary), Anna Barbary (Rotary Global Impact), and Don Coble (Spirit of Rotary). The club also honored Dusinberre with a clock comprised of photos from her year in leadership, which included the distribution of $21,143.93 in charitable funds and nearly 500 volunteer hours by its members.
