Robert (Bob) Frey of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on October 1, 2026 in Community Hospice Care. He was born on July 11, 1944 to Stanley and Virginia Frey in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal during his 42 years in the Holliston, Massachusetts Middle School.
He loved his boat and spent many hours on the St. Johns River. Bike riding was a favorite pastime as well as playing tennis. He belonged to a group of friends known as the Cowboys. He also belonged to the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Hall Frey of Fleming Island, Florida; his stepdaughter, Christine (Wayne) LeClaire of Middleburg, Florida; his stepson, Brian (Jennifer) Hall of Hampstead, New Hampshire; four grandsons, Daniel LeClaire of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Brandon LeClaire of Eagle Pass, Texas, Nicholas and Andrew Hall of Hampstead, New Hampshire; his brother, Russell Frey of Orange Park, Florida; and his sister, Virginia Marcheterre of Leominster, Massachusetts.
A celebration of life will be held on October 24, 2026 at 11:00am in the First Presbyterian Church, 300 Gum Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida with Pastor Libby Rollins officiating.
