ORANGE PARK - The Psi Mu Nu Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity will be hosting its third annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The free event will be held at the Orange Park Mall and aims to facilitate, participate and coordinate activities that promote positive healthy living practices.
It will feature booths and vendors from the Mayo Clinic, the Florida Department of Health, AARP, Fatherhood Coach, Head Start and many others.
Attendees will be able to gain strength training, as well as get insight from local health care professionals, weight loss consultants, mental health experts and many other health care providers. Those in attendance will also be able to receive various screenings and get their vitals checked.
The fraternity has been hosting the event both virtually and in-person since 2020. The group said that the importance of the event lies in keeping the community educated on how to treat illnesses and slow the spread of other conditions effectively.
The event will be from noon to 4 p.m. in the open area between Dick's Sporting Goods and JC Penney.
