CLAY COUNTY – The Clay County District Schools will host ninth-grade expos throughout the month so students can discover Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities.
One will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Ridgeview High, 466 Madison Ave., Orange Park, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., followed by Middleburg High, 3750 County Road 220 on Feb. 18, Oakleaf High, 4035 Plantation Oaks Blvd. on Feb. 19 and Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High, 900 Orchid Ave. on Feb. 20. All are from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The CTE program offers a wide variety of career-ready options, like: areas: aerospace, agriculture, automotive, business, computer, systems/IT/cybersecurity, construction, including carpentry, drafting, electrical, HVAC and welding, criminal justice, culinary, digital media including TV production, digital photography, Digital design, and 3-D animation, early childhood education, engineering, fashion design, fire-fighting, health science and hospitality and tourism.
