Mary Faith (Adams) Vines was born 7/1/1932 to parents Alice and Julius Benson Adams in Leeds, AL, and passed away 10/29/2024 at age 92 due to natural causes in Penney Farms, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin Vines, Sr. in 2003. She is survived by her son Robert Franklin Vines, Jr., his wife Sarah, daughter Nancy Lynne (Vines) Rushin, her husband Scott, son Jefferson Scott Vines, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
For most of her life, Mary Faith was an active member of Presbyterian churches executing a variety of roles. She taught first grade for 32 years in public schools in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. After retiring in 1994 she enjoyed RV traveling with her husband Robert, sewing, quilting, and vacations with family and friends.
She was known affectionately as “Aunt Mary Faith” to many family members and well respected in her community as “Miss Mary” at Penney Farms Retirement Community.
Celebration of Life to be held December 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Penney Memorial Church.
