KEYSTONE HEIGHTS - The Keystone Heights High band will host a dinner on Friday, Dec. 5, at 5:30 p.m. to raise money for new uniforms, and the Lake Region Kiwanis Club will get the Indians off to a fast start with a $5,000 donation.
The Kiwanis received the money after applying for a grant from the Clay Electric Round Up program.
The check presentation at the school’s cafeteria will be at 6:30 p.m. Added with the generosity of Pangborn Ice Cream Shop and Sam Nadler at Keystone Plumbing, the donations exceeded $15,000, which doesn’t include the in-kind donations for concession stand work, food donations, auction items and additional support.
The dinner costs $15. After the presentations, the band will play a concert in the cafeteria
