Ian took his last breath on 2/2/25. He was born to Gerry Vogt & Ann Gagge.
He loved to ride motorcycles & his dream was to retire & just ride everywhere. The accident in 2012, put a stop to that dream, but it didn’t stop him from loving the idea of riding again. His other passion was being in a kitchen with his own made-up recipes. He took so much joy in the presentation of each plate that he prepared. He truly enjoyed trying new dishes, & not following a written recipe, but always made it his own. He could take a bunch of leftovers & make brand new delicious dishes.
He loved 80s music & played it often, with the help of you tube. He would have it play in the background. His children often joked with him that he needed to play more than 50 or so songs in his playlist. His favorite thing was making up song parodies & sharing them with anyone who would listen.
He loved being surrounded by his 5 fur babies, Luke, Luna, Puppers, Koko & Jaxon; which he had the most conversations with & would often sleep surrounded by them.
He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Lisa, his children Jade M. DeSousa-Vogt, Elizabeth & Devin Ian. His bonus children, Jordynne, her partner Cody with their 3 children; Emily, Olivia & Michael as well as the youngest bonus child; Aubrianna. He also leaves behind his father Gerry Vogt, his sister Chie Sebastiano, her husband Carmine Jr & their son Carmine III; his sister Wakae McLaurin, her husband David & their son Nicholas as well as many cousins, aunts & uncles.
Those who knew him, know that this is what brought him the most joy. He loved spoiling his wife with new adventures & reminding her what his life was like before he found the love of his life.
