ORANGE PARK— Saturday afternoon was all about building healthy habits for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, which hosted its third annual Community Health Fair.
From noon to 4 p.m., attendees were invited to the Orange Park Mall to learn more about what "health is wealth" truly means. The Psi Mu Nu Chapter has been hosting the event both virtually and in-person since 2020. According to the group, the event's importance lies in keeping the community educated.
From the Mayo Clinic and Florida Health Department talking health care to T.E.A.M Dad promoting emotional support for local fathers, and Deep Waters providing mental health counseling, the event hosted a variety of vendors dedicated to many health initiatives.
In addition to other activities and informational meet and greets, attendees gained insight on martial arts training with Nisei Bujutsu Hombu Dojo, received vital checks from the Delta Chi Chi Chapter of the Chi Eta Phi Sorority and tried a range of nutritious sea moss gels from Health Zone FL.
