Headset drive launched for Keystone Heights Elementary

Keystone Heights Tech Help accepting donations through March

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS—Classrooms at Keystone Heights Elementary are currently running low on wired headsets used for daily computer work and required student testing. To help ensure every child has access to the tools they need to learn and succeed, a community-wide effort titled the Keystone Heights Elementary Headset Drive has been launched for the month of March.

The drive is hosted by Keystone Heights Tech Help, a new local startup owned by Chris Vanzo. The goal is simple: replenish classroom headset supplies so students are not limited during instructional time or testing periods.

The school has requested wired headsets only (3.5mm audio jack). Both new and gently used headsets are accepted. Over-ear, on-ear and earbud styles are welcome to support different age groups and student comfort needs. Bluetooth devices cannot be accepted.

Businesses and the community can participate by dropping off headsets at Keystone Heights Elementary, Florida Homes Realty and Mortgage at 510 S. Lawrence Blvd. or purchasing and shipping directly from the organized Amazon list (https://bit.ly/KHE-headphones).

Access to working headsets shouldn’t be a barrier to learning. This is a simple way for the community to step in and directly support students. The drive will run throughout the month of March, with donations distributed directly to Keystone Heights Elementary classrooms.
