GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Rotary Club moved its weekly meeting to the construction site of the future home of the Vineyard Transitional Center on Monday to see the shelter's progress for as many as 16 inmates released from the Clay County Jail. The house will provide them with job and life skills as they work to transition back to the community and their families to reduce the likelihood of returning to jail. Rotary Secretary Anna Barbary put her painted handprint and signature on the wall to support fellow Rotary members, Pastor John Sanders, the center’s president, and Joseph Smith, the executive director.
