"Everybody loves to celebrate. Everybody loves a party," said Kellie White.
White, along with Brandi Hand, owns and operates Perfect Pebble, a neat storefront that complements their event planning business. In addition to selling unique trinkets, they travel around the local area, turning creative ideas into memorable celebrations brought to life.
White founded the business back in 2017. As someone who had always loved organization, creativity and unforgettable celebrations, she knew from early on it was something she wanted to do. Once she helped her friend's daughter tie the knot, she knew it was time.
"This is what I want to do," White said.
White met Hand years later in 2021. The two bonded immediately and joined forces.
"She brought me on," Hand said.
"She worked a wedding with us, and I knew immediately that she was perfect," White added.
From there, the two started building the business from the ground up. And what began as wedding planning has since expanded.
Whether it's a milestone birthday, a bridal shower, a retirement party or a get-together with your friends, Hand and White have the props and decorations to fit right in. Together, they've been integral to various special events.
"We [have] everything in storage. All kinds of rentals for any event. And if it's something we don't have, we know the vendors that can get it. Linens, furniture, tables, chairs," White said.
"If somebody wants to come in and have a nice dinner party, they want to have six to eight friends over, and they want to have their table set a certain way, we can help with that. And that way you're not having to buy everything just to set your table for one night. They can come in, take it, use it and bring it back. Or we can come and set up everything," she added.
Whatever the event, the two said they offer step-by-step guidance for those who may need assistance. It's a one-stop shop.
"They can give us an idea of what they want, and then we run with it and present it back to them. It's everything that they pictured, with none of the hassle and none of the stress of having to pull it all off," Hand said.
Hand and White opened their shop back in January. It served as a way to house the loads of rental gear that had piled up in storage. They also added in some themed merchandise and another unique service — custom jewelry.
Inside the store is Perfect Pebble's fine jewelry bar. Engagement rings, wedding bands, earrings, bracelets, stackable necklaces, charms, and even pins: White said customers can create over 863 diamond and gemstone combinations at a budget-friendly cost.
"They're magnetic. So, you can try each one. And then you can decide what you like," Hand said.
White said they can have it made by a Louisiana-based company.
"Somebody could come in and say, I want this sapphire ring with a 3-carat diamond or a two-carat diamond. It could be 14-carat yellow gold or white gold. Or a lab-created diamond. A moissanite, a natural diamond."
The two said the jewelry bar is just one of the many aspects that make their shop unique and special. The inviting atmosphere and experience are also an icing on the cake.
"We're trying to get the word out to let everybody know what we do. When they do walk by and they're like, 'Oh, that's a wedding store.' We are so much more than weddings," White said.
