GREEN COVE SPRINGS — Families were invited to Spring Park on Saturday, Feb. 21 to have some free fun during the annual Augusta's Children's Day. The Friends of Augusta Savage Arts and Community Center (FASACC) hosted the event, along with the City of Green Cove Springs, which featured music, dancing, interactive arts and crafts, gifts, face painting and food trucks. There were several vendors and booths that showcased during the event, including Clay County's newest 4-H group Legacy Springs and the Village Improvement Association, who offered a bookmark making activity. FASACC is a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring healthy, productive and creative lives, with special emphasis on the underserved members of the community.
