Congratulations are extended to three Clay County High School graduates: Gloriannie Sanchez, Abigail Wilson and Dylan Collins. These seniors were selected from a possible 30 applicants to receive a $1,000 scholarship from Elks Lodge 1892.

Sanchez will attend University of North Florida to study nursing. She has been a member of the NJROTC program for three years, a member of the National Honor Society and the Future Farmers of America.

Wilson wishes to become a mechanical engineer after attending University of Central Florida. She volunteers her time with Future Farmers of America and 4-H programs.

Collins is destined to become a veterinarian; he plans to attend either Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College or University of Florida. With his involvement in Future Farmers of America, Clay County Animal Services, 4-H and horse therapy programs, he has been on a path that leads to veterinary studies.

Scholarship committee members include Pam Fore, Sally Thorsen and Terreca Hurley.
