GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Corner Pocket Diner and Sports Bar will host Pool Tournaments on Sunday, Dec. 29, at noon to raise money for Shawn Deese, who is battling colon cancer.
The formats include Blind Draw H/L Scotch Doubles, Fast 8-Ball Teams with alternate breaks and Race 3/3 Double Eliminations.
The cost is $20 a player, with $10 going to the Deese family and $10 to the tournament. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction that ends at 4 p.m.
The Corner Pocket is at 14 N. Magnolia Ave.
