Women’s nonprofit donates to a dozen groups
The Magnolia Point Women’s Club, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity organization, recently donated to 12 organizations within Clay County to fulfill two prongs of the Club’s mission of supporting efforts to improve the lives of underserved residents of Clay County and offering educational incentives and opportunities to children within Clay County.
At the beginning of its 2024-25 fiscal year, which started May 1, 2024, the Club’s members provided their input on which charitable organizations to support. In keeping with its mission to support charitable efforts, the Club holds several fundraisers throughout the year. The Club also holds an annual fundraiser supported by residents of Magnolia Point to fund the scholarship program, which awards scholarships each June to young ladies graduating from Clay High School.
The Magnolia Point Women’s Club “year” ends on April 30 at which time a new slate of executive officers and board members will take over leadership at its May 14 installation luncheon.
