FLEMING ISLAND — As customers ventured into a local Starbucks on Tuesday morning, they were met with a different sight than the normal hardworking baristas — local law enforcement.
But, all for a good reason.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office held its "Coffee with a Cop" event at the Fleming Island store to engage with local citizens and answer questions.
A time to mingle, speak with law enforcement, snack and enjoy a warm cup of coffee, customers did just that.
