CLAY COUNTY – Visit your local Publix Supermarket to donate, and you'll get to hang a paper torch with your name on it in the store.
Publix, Special Olympics and Law Enforcement have partnered for more than 44 years to help people with intellectual disabilities achieve their dreams.
This signature event unites Publix associates, customers, and local communities to support thousands of Special Olympics athletes and their families.
Now through Sunday, Jan. 21, customers who visit any Clay County Publix location can help support Clay County Special Olympics Athletes with a donation, which can be made at the register during checkout for as little as $1 or a specific desired amount. For more information about this fundraiser and many others, contact Sgt. Zach Cox at zcox@claysheriff.com.
