CLAY COUNTY – The first official winner of the Clay County History Bingo Passport was awarded the gift of an adventure pack by Commissioner Mike Cella, Chairman of the Tourist Development Council.

Kathy B. is a long-time resident of Clay County but is the proud grandmother of an 8-year-old little girl from Louisiana who spent part of her summer vacation exploring Clay County.

Kathy and her granddaughter spent a week in May visiting a total of 15 locations out of the 24 listed on the Bingo Passport.

“I was looking for something to do with my granddaughter while she was visiting and this was a great way to show her where I live,” Kathy said.

Kathy said that their favorite location was Camp Chowenwaw in Green Cove Springs.
