MIDDLEBURG – A woman was accused of stabbing another woman on June 15 she believed was responsible for the death of her sister.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Alexis Megas Pawloski, 27, of Orange Park, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after a woman was stabbed in the chest with a folded pocket knife during a “verbal altercation” with the victim and another person.
After the stabbing, Pawloski was tracked to Suzanne Drive by the Life 360 App, and other witnesses restrained her until CCSO deputies arrived to take her into custody.
Pawloski’s bond was set at $25,003. Her next court date is July 22.
