Clay County of County Commissioners voted 3-0 to lift a $64,000 lien from the property located at 5950 Plantation Court in Keystone Heights.

An internal investigation aimed at finding out how the Clay County Sheriff Office could arrest the wrong women twice in five months ended with four suspensions and a set of new procedures at the agency.

Liberty University senior Jacob Hagen, a 2010 Orange Park High graduate, and senior teammate Nick Sigmon were honored with the 2014 Sports Network FCS Preseason All-American teams with both players earning a second-term selection.

Clay County Sheriff Scott Lancaster told the county Budget, and Personnel Committee that he was preparing an application for a $16 million grant and was seeking Board of County Commissioners support.

Parks and Recreation Director Jack Brooker said boaters should be able to use the new ramps at Knight Park Hwy. 17 at Black Creek in about six weeks.
