A truth that is difficult for the mentality of the world to accept is that salvation can only come through Jesus Christ. You can believe this only if you declare your faith in God’s word and believe it regardless of the contradictions posed by the world’s “knowledge.”

This is a paraphrase of something written by Billy Graham that I once read. He said, “Early in my Christian life, I had difficulty believing the Bible. My logic and reasoning did not coincide with its teachings. I finally came to the place that I determined I would believe the Bible regardless of questions and things I did not understand.” He went on to write, “You must decide that, despite questions and uncertainty, you believe the Bible!”

If you believe the Bible is God’s word, you believe that Jesus is the only way of salvation. Throughout the Scriptures, Old and New Testament, the teaching is firm and declarative.

Mankind must be saved through Jesus Christ or be lost forever.

The Old Testament teaches this clearly. Noah’s ark teaches one way: it was the only place of safety when God drowned the world. Rahab’s safe house teaches one way: it was the only place of safety when Joshua’s army captured the city. The Passover as Israel was escaping Egypt teaches one way: there was safety only in the house where the blood was on the doorposts. The cities of refuge located throughout

Israel’s land under the Judges teach this: they were the only places where the pursued

were safe.

Jesus said it clearly about Himself. “I am the way, the truth and the life,” He declared. And a part of this claim was the further statement “No one comes to the Father except through me.” The apostles continued to teach it when they proclaimed, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 ESV)

Turn to Jesus. He is your Savior. This is your answer If you have sought assurance for your eternal life. Jesus Christ is our assurance. He is the one way that is provided for us to live forever.
