Susan Soltys was recently selected as the Rotarian of the Year by the Northeast Florida chapter. Soltys (center) also honored as the Paul Harris Fellow by club President Sandra Hartley (left) and Ann Breidenstein, Club Foundation Chair. As a Paul Harris Fellow, Soltys was recognized for her devotion to the ideal of goodwill, peace and understanding – a goal of all Rotarians. Soltys has been in the Rotary Club of N.E. Florida since October 2018 and holds the position of club secretary. She is very active in community projects and fundraising. The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Bono’s Bar-B-Q at 1765 Town Center Blvd. on Fleming Island.
