More than 500 attended Tuesday nights 25th annual Gourmet Night at Club Continental to support Rotary Club of Orange Park’s local charities. More than 30 restaurants offered samples of their best dishes at what’s become one of the biggest social events of the year. Included in taste sampling were a pair of auctions, with profits benefiting the Quigley House, Orange Park High ROTC, Orange Park Athletic Association, Mercy Support Services, the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs, BASCA, National Association of Veterans and Families, Boy Scouts of America, Police Athletic League, Clay County Humane Society, Believe Foundation and The Salvation Army. The event is expected to make about $35,000.
