CLAY COUNTY – County leaders want to hear from residents on the proposed Annual Action Plan for federal funds designated to improve the quality of life in local communities.
Two public hearings and three public meetings will be held starting this week to review the projects in the draft plan under the county’s Community Development Block Grant program.
Residents can weigh in on how those dollars should be spent – from infrastructure improvements, to housing rehabilitation and other quality of life projects.
The Draft FY 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan is available for review at all five Clay County library branches and on the County’s website at claycountygov.com.
There are three ways to learn more information about the draft plan and get involved in the process.
• Attend Board of County Commissioners Meetings.
The public is invited to attend the Board of County Commissioners meeting on July 26 at 5 p.m. and provide your input on the proposed Annual Action Plan through public comment.
• Attend a Public Meeting.
Residents are invited to the public meetings listed below to review and provide input on the draft Annual Action Plan.
Public meeting No. 1 on June 16 at 6 p.m. and Keystone Heights Beach Historic Pavilion, 565 S. Lawrence Blvd.
Public meeting No. 2 on June 21 at 6 p.m. at Orange Park Public Library, 2054 Plainfield Ave.
Public meeting No. 3 on June 23 at 6 p.m. at Middleburg-Clay Public Library, 2245 Aster Ave. in Middleburg.
