GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The schedule has never been busier for local guitarist Paul Wane.
Having played the “Star-Spangled Banner” for the season-opening game for the Jacksonville Jaguars-Cleveland Browns game and the Orlando Magic-Chicago Bulls game, Wane was recently hired to play private parties before the Sugar Ray/Uncle Kracker and Clint Black concerts at the Clay County Agricultural Fair on April 3 and 4, respectively, and his Duval County Line band will now open for the Spin Doctors on Tuesday, April 8.
Wane also will be a judge for the Mullet Matchup and his Rising Star: Guitars for Kids will raise money at the human slot machine at the exhibition building.
“We aren’t staying in one spot,” Wane said. “We’ve got some big announcements coming up, so stay tuned.”
